Fmode

/fmode is possibly the most poorly-documented IRC command evar. This shows the syntax near the bottom, but what actually works is slightly different than what that page shows.

Here's what seems to work:

/fmode #channame mode username

This applies mode to username in #channame. Example:

/fmode #42pub +aop Harena

Somewhere, there must be a list of applicable modes. That same page does have several lists of modes, but "+aop" does not appear to be among them. Perhaps "+aop" was truncated to "+a" or treated as a combination of "+a", "+o", and "+p". Someone somewhere probably knows, but isn't currently telling.
