You might want to tweak the history of "When Chats Go Bad" if possible. Go far enough back and you see the chatter's name in the history. (--Symbiotic)
Yeah, I was aware of that. I'm a bit nervous of messing with the data at that level, and I'm going to chalk up any unfortunate discoveries of the chatter's identity (which I never really saw the importance of hiding in the first place) to the experimental nature of the process. Vee apparently hates the idea, for reasons that I can't quite wrap my head around, so my enthusiasm for cleaning it up is low at the moment. I have to ponder it and see if I can reincarnate the idea in some more acceptable form... and then I will know what to do about the history. --Woozle 16:12, 25 Jun 2005 (EDT)
You could copy-paste it and delete the old page, maybe? --Symbiotic 20:43, 25 Jun 2005 (EDT)
Looking at it now, I see that Vee nixed the transcript and tweaked what is there today. I'm of the opinion that since it's a public channel, the transcripts should be open and displayed as such.
IANAL IANAChanOp, but it's just my thought... --Symbiotic 20:46, 25 Jun 2005 (EDT)
I've posted a page about the issue of posting chat transcripts; hopefully that will help get some clarification on whether or not I'm way out in left field on this one. --Woozle 09:07, 26 Jun 2005 (EDT)
