Overview

Sluggybot is our own custom-coded bot.

Commands

Help

Send SluggyBot a private message with the word 'help' in it to see a list of available commands. Or, enter !sbhelp into any channel with SluggyBot present and he'll send you a private message.

Override B1

• !overrideb1 makes SluggyBot set the current channel to "moderated" so channel-flooders (assumed to be anyone who hasn't been voiced) can't talk. The point of this feature is that anyone can use it; the channel moderation feature provided by chanserv can only be used by chanops or higher. Uses of this command by non-chanops are logged, and abusers may be removed from the room and / or network.
  • !peace restores things to normal

Quotes

• ' (single quote), !', or !quote SluggyBot provides a randomly selected quote from the Sluggy Freelance webcomic. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !bill Delivers a quote from #sluggysquad user Bill. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !seg Delivers a quote from #sluggysquad user Seg. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !bunbun Delivers a quote spoken by Bunbun from the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !kiki Delivers a quote spoken by Kiki from the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !torg Delivers a quote spoken by Torg from the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !riff Delivers a quote spoken by Riff from the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !zoe Delivers a quote spoken by Zoe from the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.
• !sam Delivers a quote spoken by Sam from the webcomic Sluggy Freelance. Cannot be used more then once every 30 seconds.

Puppetry

Make SluggyBot do things...

• !deliver Request to deliver something. Example: !deliver something or !deliver something to someone.
• !order Order something from the store. Example: !order something or !order something for someone.
• !paws Delivers something with paws to the requester.
• !puppy Delivers something with paws to the requester.
• pull! Launches a Microsoft Service Pack 2 CD into the air for you to shoot down.

Other Commands

• !set Used to set information given with the !whois command. Use !set by itself to get more information from SluggyBot in a private window.
• !whois Ask SluggyBot to display info about a nick. Example: !whois nick. Nick owner must have registered with SluggyBot using the !set command for this to work.
• !version Display the version of SluggyBot

Commands in Private Message Window

These commands only work in a private message (msg) window with SluggyBot.

• about People who worked on SluggyBot.
• credits People who worked on SluggyBot.
• id Identify yourself to Sluggybot. Must be pre-registered for this command to work.
• set works in the same way as !set (see above).
• version works in the same way as !version (see above).
• whois works in the same way as !whois (see above).

Obsolete / Unused Commands

• !myscore List your NiftyPoints.
• !showscore Show the NiftyScore of a given user. Example !showscore user.
• !nifty Show the people with the top NiftyScore.
• !mypoints List your Hit Points.
• !showpoints Show the hitpoints of a nick. Example !showpoints user.
